American Tortoise Rescue (“ATR,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the World Turtle Day® website at worldturtleday.org (the “Site”). This document explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, and sets out the terms that govern your use of the Site, including our email communications and merchandise shop.

When you subscribe to our email list, your information is managed through ActiveCampaign, our email service provider. ActiveCampaign processes your data on our behalf and is contractually bound to protect it.

Our merchandise shop is powered by WooCommerce and fulfilled through Printify, a print-on-demand service. When you place an order, your name, email, and shipping address are shared with Printify so they can produce and ship your items directly to you. Payment is processed securely by PayPal. PayPal has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your payment data. We do not have access to your full credit card or bank account details.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure pricing is accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel any orders placed at an incorrect price. Product availability is subject to change without notice.
Shipping times and costs vary depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Our merchandise is produced on demand by Printify. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Because items are custom printed, we generally cannot accept returns for buyer’s remorse, but we’ll do our best to make it right.
The Site may include links to donate to Turtle and Tortoise Rescue of Arroyo Grande (TTRAG) or other conservation organizations. Donations are separate from merchandise purchases and are subject to the receiving organization’s own terms and policies.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content that we determine is inappropriate, offensive, or inconsistent with the mission of World Turtle Day®.
The Site and all content, products, and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Educational content on the Site is for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional veterinary, legal, or scientific advice.
